The Laser Operator also participates in both design and production related topics and effectively engages in cross functional collaboration with other manufacturing departments, quality, and management.Operates, programs, and troubleshoots tube laser machinery.Conducts first piece article inspections and documentation of part dimensions per engineering drawings and specifications.Performs and documents routine maintenance on machines as directed.Understands the company's quality program and aids management in scheduling workload to optimize machine run time.Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Team Leader or Supervisor.Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.5 years minimum experience in manufacturing.3 years minimum experience in operating, programming, or repairing laser machinery.Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructionsAble to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.Pay range: $26.00 USD to $29.00 USD Per HourCareer Scope and Advancement: As we grow, new positions and career opportunities arise, offering accelerated paths for the right candidates, locally and globally.World of Wellness Philosophy: We empower you to take charge of your health and well-being.
