QUALITY INSPECTOR - Howell, Michigan Position(s) Start : Monday, August 24, 2026 Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Available Shift: 1st SHIFT - Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (some weekends required) Job Specific Details: This is a physically demanding project - Visual inspection for paint defects, porosity issues, and seating issues of wheel liners. May be required to shim to verify proper seating, verify the presence of stamp information on part. Parts weigh from 10-17 pounds each. This position requires bending and lifting as bins are located on the floor, and Inspector must bend down and pick up each part to properly inspect each part. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds continuously throughout the duration of the shift Must be able to start immediately Must have reliable transportation Must be able to stand for long hours Able to read and write Must have steel toe shoes/boots - REQUIRED Summary Of The Quality Inspector Inspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possible Essential Duties And Responsibilities Of The Quality Inspector Inspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materials Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Education And Experience Requirements Of The Quality Inspector High School Diploma / GED preferred Previous inspection experience preferred A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
