Physical Therapist — Outpatient, Orlando, FL

Join a collaborative outpatient therapy team in Orlando, FL. Provide 60-minute evaluations and individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions. Implement functional programs that support return to community activities. Contribute to patient, family, student, and colleague education while maintaining professional standards and compliance with organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations and develop measurable treatment plans and goals.
• Experience documenting in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Competence with 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions.
• Ability to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services and to supervise students as assigned.
• Commitment to maintaining professional licensure, meeting continuing education requirements, and adhering to state practice acts and regulatory standards.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Experience with safe patient handling practices and material handling protocols.
• Prior experience participating in performance improvement initiatives and completing associated documentation.

Assignment Details

• Schedule options include 8/5s or 4/10s.
• Responsible for designing and delivering functional treatment programs and ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and insurance approval when required.
• May be expected to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.
