Mid to Lower Manhattan

A growing outpatient surgery center is adding a Registered Nurse to its Pre-Op/PACU team following a nearly 74% increase in monthly surgical volume.

\n

\n

The center specializes in ENT and ophthalmology outpatient surgical cases and offers an opportunity for an RN to continue providing excellent patient care while gaining the schedule and work-life balance that can be difficult to find in a hospital environment.

\n

\n

Who We're Looking For:

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will have experience in an ambulatory surgery center, particularly in Pre-Op or PACU.

\n

\n

The team is also open to RNs coming from:

\n

\n

\n
• Critical Care
\n
• Emergency Department
\n
• Pediatric ICU
\n
• Other acute care environments which requires conscious sedation experience
\n

\n

\n

Approximately 40% of the ENT surgical population is pediatric, making Pediatric ICU nurses particularly strong candidates for this opportunity.

\n

\n

If you're a critical care, emergency or pediatric ICU nurse who enjoys patient care but is ready for a more predictable schedule and wants your life back, this could be an excellent transition.

\n

\n

Schedule:

\n

\n

\n
• Monday through Friday
\n
• Flexible scheduling: 5 eight-hour shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts
\n
• No call
\n
• No weekends
\n
• No holidays
\n
• Surgical schedule is known approximately two weeks in advance
\n
• Staggered start times, typically 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM or after 8:00 AM
\n
• Employees usually leave by 5:00 PM at the latest. However, rarely a PACU RN will have to stay until 6p.
\n
• Guaranteed 40 hours available for candidates who want them
\n
