RN Manager - NICU and Pediatric

Role Overview: The Nurse Manager oversees clinical operations on a designated unit, ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment. They supervise nursing and ancillary staff, coordinate daily activities, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a skilled, high-performing team, including recruitment, coaching, and evaluations. Develop strategies to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and satisfaction for patients, families, and physicians. Monitor care processes and outcomes through data analysis and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and address operational issues. Manage staffing needs, schedules, and overtime, ensuring appropriate coverage and throughput. Facilitate effective communication, emergency preparedness, and safe environment maintenance. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practice state required. Preferred: CPR/BLS certification, specialty or administrative certification, leadership experience, and acute care nursing background.
