AWS is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to shape the future of cloud cybersecurity. You will connect customer needs to product strategy across domains including threat detection, network security, and identity and access management. We’re looking for a technologist and business strategist who can dive deep into technical architecture while crafting portfolio-level value propositions, partnering with product and GTM teams to identify ideal customers, understand their use cases, and develop messaging that helps customers understand AWS offerings. Key responsibilities Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop portfolio-level strategy documents and guide AWS service prioritization Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to customers Analyze and synthesize market data to identify key customer personas, use cases, and product opportunities, and shape our strategy to help customers adopt AWS for their highest priority needs Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate customers on AWS offerings Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success Align with technical and business leaders on primary cloud and AI use cases for ideal customer profiles; define best-practice architecture and services for each use case About the team Inclusive culture and diverse experiences are valued at AWS. Basic Qualifications Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of direct experience working with customers on cloud technology adoption or 6+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, networking, threat detection, incident response, endpoint, or IAM Preferred Qualifications Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and using data to inform decisions MBA or Master’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures Experience presenting to executive-level audiences and industry analysts Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
