Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Primary & Acute Care (Hybrid) | Contract

Location: Nevada (NV) Schedule: Rotating 4×10s + Weekend Coverage Setting: Hybrid Ambulatory & Occupational Health

Overview

This contract role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) seeking to provide both primary and acute care in a hybrid clinical setting. The position requires strong clinical skills across all age groups, familiarity with EPIC EMR, and the ability to work rotating 10‑hour shifts. Weekend coverage is included, offering a dynamic and fast‑paced work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following EPIC modules:
  • Epic ClinDoc
  • EpicCare Inpatient
  • Epic Inpatient
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Valid Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Nevada (NV)
  • Physician Assistant‑Certified (PA‑C) – Nevada (NV)
• ANY of the following valid Basic Life Support certifications:
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care and acute care services to patients of all ages
• Deliver care in a hybrid setting , including ambulatory and occupational health
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation, charting, and care coordination
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and clinical practice standards

Schedule & Shift Details

• 4×10 rotating schedule:
  • Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Tuesday–Friday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage:
  • Two scheduled weekends per month
  • Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
