Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Oasis of Clinical Support, your daily responsibilities include:

- Providing individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse client base, helping them navigate challenges such as communication difficulties, grief and loss, and family conflicts. \n
- Conducting thorough assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each family member. \n
- Facilitating therapy sessions that may involve working with both couples and their individual partners, ensuring an inclusive approach to treatment. \n
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide patients through sensitive topics such as separation, divorce, blended families, and job-related stress. \n
- Documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. \n
Your role will focus on serving a wide range of clients, including individuals of all ages, couples, and families. You will specifically address issues such as:

- Alcohol and substance abuse \n
- Physical and psychological abuse \n
- Grief and loss \n
- Conflicts among family members and siblings \n
- Adjustment challenges related to divorce and remarriage \n
- Communication and relationship difficulties \n

Qualifications\nTo qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

- Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
- A strong commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development. \n
While not mandatory, candidates will stand out with the following:

- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of personal and psychological challenges. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology. \n
- Proven track record of facilitating effective group therapy sessions. \n
