Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role entails ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities, as well as serving as an educator for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay.
• Document all care provided in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Participate in student educational programs, providing supervision and evaluating student progress.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s code of conduct and safety policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
