Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands‑on patient care, carry out treatment plans, and help residents improve mobility and independence. Your clinical skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in each resident’s progress and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve mobility, strength, and function Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions under PT supervision Assist in implementing and modifying treatment plans based on resident progress Observe and document resident performance, safety, and response to therapy Educate and support residents, families, and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Communicate updates and observations to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning Qualifications Active Arkansas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license In good standing with all licensing and regulatory agencies SNF or long-term care experience preferred Experience with Net Health documentation is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Join The Springs of Avalon?
