FOH Manager

Join Our Team at Indie Wine & Beer Bar & SF Wine Center! We are looking for one great Manager as well as a couple talented wine bar restaurant Servers and Wine Storage Associates!

Indie @SF Wine Center is a small team that we treat as family and we are looking for new family members for the long term. Our two General Managers have been part of our family for 9 and 10 years respectively.

Nestled in the heart of San Francisco, our establishment is a haven for wine and food enthusiasts with over 75 wines by the glass and flight and an extensive paired menu. We take pride in offering a unique blend of fine wines from all over the world, exceptional food, outstanding service, and a vibrant atmosphere. Indie is also a part of SF Wine Center, a state-of-the-art wine storage facility for wine collectors. All staff have the opportunity to learn about the wine storage and collector services side of the business and to help Storage Members organize, expand and manage their wine collections. What We're Looking For:

Manager:

Experienced hospitality pro who leads by example in every way

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Extremely responsible with amazing attention to detail to open and close

All the skills and traits below

Server and Storage Associate:

Enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about wine and hospitality

Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, tasting room, events setting is preferred

Great team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Able to move and organize wine cases

Attention to detail for storing and inventorying wine collections

Strong understanding of wine labels is preferred but can be taught to self starters willing to expand their skills and knowledge

Nice to have:

Experience with Square POS

Marketing and Social Media Experience and Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Later SM, Canva, AI tools

Key Responsibilities:

Smooth service: engage with guests to ensure they have a memorable experience and address any concerns or questions they may have

Strong teamwork: everyone helps with pouring drinks, serving, running food and drinks, bussing, cleaning, setting up and breaking down the patio

Availability to help with projects as needed: moving and organizing wine cases, take pictures for the online store, assist in miscellaneous marketing projects

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on role and experience (plus tips)
