Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Contract | Full-Time | Rotating / Variable Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Independently circulate a broad range of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning between cases
• Transport patients as needed within the department
• Assist with scheduling of surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with required callback availability within 30 minutes
• Utilize Meditech and PYXIS systems in daily clinical operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience independently circulating cases in a hospital operating room setting
• Ability to reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to meet on-call callback requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub surgical cases in addition to circulating
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records and PYXIS medication dispensing systems
