Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem PositionScheduleMinimum shift requirement of 24 hours monthly, including 2 weekend shifts. Must be able to complete a full-day orientation on Tuesdays or Thursdays.Job DescriptionThe Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) will perform direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The role requires adherence to established policies and procedures while ensuring the residents' needs—physically, emotionally, and socially—are met within a safe and comfortable environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist with residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Maintain a safe and clean environment by promptly answering call lights, managing safety equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the unit.Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, and assistance with feeding.Facilitate residents' rehabilitative needs, including ambulation, transfer assistance, and proper body alignment.Report changes in residents' physical and emotional states to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.Understand and comply with protocols related to occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureOne (1) year of previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI).Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
