Vascular Surgery - Outpatient - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Syracuse, NY

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our established Outpatient Vascular Surgery team in Syracuse, NY. This outpatient role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of five vascular surgeons specializing in minimally invasive and endovascular procedures across the full spectrum of vascular disease, including complex cases. Position Details Perform patient consultations, including procedure education and expectation setting Manage preoperative medication orders and respond to patient questions See new patients, walk‑ins, and follow‑up visits in an outpatient setting Provide postoperative management and ongoing follow‑up care for surgical patients Review physician imaging reports Coordinate referral clearances, triage incoming calls, and manage patient communications alongside clinical and administrative staff Perform wound care, including wound vac management as needed Opportunity Highlights Location: St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY (outpatient office setting) Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No call, evenings, weekends, or holidays Collaborative environment with an experienced vascular surgery team Exposure to a wide range of vascular conditions, including complex disease Qualifications 1–2+ years of NP/PA experience preferred Prior experience as an APP or RN in a surgical setting preferred Active NYS NP or PA license DEA and Board Certification required Compensation Competitive salary range: $119,000 – $155,000 (does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, or other forms of cash compensation) Starting bonus: $5,000 Relocation bonus: $5,000 Benefits Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage Paid malpractice, including tail coverage CME time and $2,500 annual expense allowance Paid time away from the practice 403(b) Retirement savings program Loan Repayment: Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apacvs
