Title: Robotics Online Programmer
Location: Vonore, TN
Experience: 5 7 Years
Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Online Programmer with strong mechanical engineering and advanced robotics programming expertise to design, simulate, program, and optimize complex robotic automation cells.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze custom automation cells and EOAT using mechanical engineering principles and ASME Y14.5.
Perform robot reachability, payload, torque, CG, and moment of inertia analysis.
Develop and program complex 6-axis robotic workcells.
Perform robot simulation using MotoSim.
Conduct risk assessments and safety analysis per ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218.
Integrate safety PLCs, light curtains, and fail-safe systems.
Optimize robot logic, motion profiles, and overall cell performance.
Work with integrated vision systems such as Cognex and Keyence.

Must-Have Skills

5 7 years of relevant robotics/automation experience.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Yaskawa Online Robot Programming Must Have.
MotoSim Must Have.
Expert-level 6-axis robot programming.
Cognex / Keyence vision systems Must Have.
Robot reachability and payload analysis.
ANSI/RIA R15.06 & ISO 10218 safety standards.
Risk assessment and robotic safety experience.

Preferred

Waterjet cutting applications experience.
Custom automation and EOAT design experience.
Strong mechanical design and system analysis background.
