Senior Product Manager, HID Sample Prep

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and commercial execution for human identification sample preparation products supporting forensic workflows. The role involves portfolio management, innovation, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across extraction, purification, and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term strategy and roadmap for HID sample preparation and forensic products
- Drive portfolio growth through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence
- Build relationships with forensic laboratories, government agencies, and key opinion leaders
- Partner with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to execute product development programs
- Own portfolio performance metrics including revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related life sciences field
- 7+ years product management, marketing, or commercial leadership in life sciences or molecular diagnostics
- Experience with DNA extraction, purification, quantitation, or forensic genomics workflows
- Demonstrated success managing product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong customer engagement and strategic planning capabilities
- Knowledge of forensic DNA workflows and sample preparation chemistries preferred
Compensation: $155,900–$208,000 base
