A dedicated LPN is needed to provide 1:1 nursing care for a fifth-grade student with significant medical needs. Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license issued by the state of Georgia
• Previous experience as an LPN/LVN, especially in a school environment or pediatric care setting
• Skilled in: seizure monitoring, oral suctioning, G/J-tube feeding, oxygen administration, medication delivery, asthma management
• Comfort and reliability with g-tube changes, supplemental oxygen, and vital sign observation
• Preferably experienced with 1:1 support and individualized student healthcare plans (IEPs)
• Compassion, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and on a bus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at their residence by 6:30am, ensuring a safe trip to school via bus and return home in the afternoon per IEP and doctor’s orders
• Provide comprehensive daily care including g-tube feedings, oxygen, seizure protocol, oral suctioning, and medication administration
• Monitor and respond to vital sign changes, providing immediate intervention as needed
• Maintain detailed documentation and clear communication with educational and healthcare teams
• Foster a positive, supportive environment for the student both at home and at school
