About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekdays Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RCIS Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: RCIS and ACLS/BLS required Advanced skills needed: EP experience Description: Travel position for a Cath Lab Tech. Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call. Various days may be required for call coverage. Duties include performing right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional, as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit consists of 3 labs with a patient ratio of 3:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. The primary equipment includes GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS. Documentation is managed through a specific system. Floating to nearby facilities for STEMI call may be necessary. A strong commitment to patient experience is essential, requiring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a lab setting. Dress code consists of provided OR scrubs.
