Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours | 6:15 AM – 4:15 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR tech) to join a leading acute care hospital in Torrance, California . This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced operating room environment supporting a broad range of surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, and Endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Establish and maintain sterile fields while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments and supplies.
• Perform instrument processing, sterilization, and disinfection as required.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and care of surgical equipment.
• Support patient safety initiatives and contribute to efficient surgical workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience required.
• Hospital experience required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Must be willing to float to affiliated facilities as needed.
