Warehouse Associate - Blythewood

Warehouse Order Processor

The position involves the physical handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes, which range in weight from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs. The role requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward throughout the shift. Employees will manually move boxes and use hand carts.

Responsibilities

Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.

Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on uneven and concrete surfaces.

Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.

Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.

Operate handheld scanners.

Climb and balance on ladders.

Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.

Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.

Proficiency in using hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.

Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
