Senior Data Architect (SDA)

Salary: $85,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with Oracle databases, plus knowledge of SQL Server; most of the environment is on-premises.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata.
• At least 5 years of solution architecture experience.
• At least 5 years of Master Data Management (MDM) experience.
• At least 5 years of data modeling experience.
• At least 5 years of data governance experience and working knowledge of related best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of data movement and processing, including middleware, ETL, APIs, OLTP, OLAP, and data-tracking best practices.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to audiences at all levels.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to mentor effectively.
• Oracle GoldenGate experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work directly as a Genesis10 employee in W-2 status.

• Design and manage data architecture solutions across data warehouses, ODS, replication, ETL, and other data management initiatives.
• Partner with business, DBA, ETL, data management, and enterprise architecture teams to develop solutions for complex data initiatives.
• Establish data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines, and promote consistent decisions and adherence to best practices.
• Keep data standards, definitions, dictionaries, and lineage current and accessible.
• Collaborate with ETL, replication, DBA, and support teams on best practices for data transformations, movement, derivations, and support methodologies.
• Mentor data architects and analysts on database design and data management practices.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for MDM implementation and implement an MDM tool.
• Establish MDM policies, procedures, and guidelines, and document architectural rules and process designs.

We are recruiting a hands-on Senior Data Architect for our client in the utilities industry. This is a long-term contract based in Dallas, Texas, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite.
