As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Team in Laurinburg, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed and driving officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and/or designated posts, remaining prepared for changing conditions and operational needs.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Support order at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with site leadership and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
