Job Title : Welder Fabrication Fitter
Pay : $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date : ASAP

As a Welder Fabrication Fitter, you'll be instrumental in constructing custom machinery, stairways, and conveyor systems. You'll work closely with the fabrication and production teams to deliver precise, high-quality components on time, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
As a Welder Fabrication Fitter, you will be responsible for:
• Fabricating, fitting, and welding parts and assemblies from blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Building structural components such as stairways, platforms, and conveyor systems.
• Laying out materials accurately using measurements, templates, and layout tools
• Operating shop fabrication equipment like shears, press brakes, rolls, ironworkers, saws, and carbon arc welders.
• Utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes to move and position materials and assemblies safely.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Working overtime and Saturdays as needed to meet project deadlines.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2 years of fabrication experience; advanced skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience in constructing stairways, conveyor systems, and structural components.
• Strong knowledge of plumb, level, square, and layout practices.
• Good math and geometry skills.
• Experience with rigging and overhead crane operation.
• Mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
• A toolbox equipped with standard fabrication tools.
• Dependability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
