Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse located in Tulare, California. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within the emergency department, following established standards of care and utilizing the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing nursing staff at various levels, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing patient education and discharge planning.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shift, 12-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certification; AHA-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility; specialization in emergency or trauma nursing is advantageous.
• Essential Functions: Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient progress, collaborates with healthcare team, provides education to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
• Clinical and operational details: The position involves providing safe, healing, and compassionate patient care while supporting team-based workflows and assisting in continuous quality improvement.
