User Experience Strategist

Role summary / purpose
Lead user-centered research, strategy, and design for complex digital and enterprise products, translating user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive experiences. This role requires demonstrated experience leveraging AI throughout the UX process to accelerate discovery, definition, and design concepts, develop AI rendered prototypes, support usability testing, and identify opportunities for AI-enabled product experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, journey mapping, process and task-flow definition, user feedback sessions, and usability testing
- Challenge assumptions and advocate for evidence-based solutions
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX leadership, engineering, data science, and other cross-functional partners
- Utilize Figma, JIRA, Scaled Agile practices, and various LLM tools to deliver value-based outcomes
- Conduct operational and financial analyses that support informed decision-making
- Apply data visualization techniques to generate insights from business data
- Lead process mapping initiatives, ensuring workflows align with business objectives and regulatory compliance
- Develop cost models and identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements - education & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least five years of UX/UI research and design experience
- 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, market intelligence, and business process improvement
Required skills
- Strong strategic leadership and communication skills
- Expertise in database management, market intelligence, and data governance best practices
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel
- Strong project ownership skills
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI throughout the UX process
Nice-to-have / preferred skills
- Proactive, curious mindset focused on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement
- Experience with responsible AI utilization
