Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Operating Room in a Level I Trauma Center Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Schedule: Day shift rotation with potential evening coverage; call coverage required Hours Per Week: 36 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: September 14, 2026 Orientation: 72 hours Call Requirements: Up to 4 weeknight calls per 4-week schedule and up to 2 weekend call shifts Location: Ann Arbor, MI 48109 Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required Active Michigan RN license in hand at time of submission BLS certification required CAC certification required Epic charting experience required General OR and trauma experience required Experience in a Level I Trauma Center required Ability to provide 2 supervisory references Flu vaccination required per facility policy Candidate must be able to commit to call and weekend coverage as scheduled Responsibilities Provide skilled circulating and/or scrub support in the operating room Assist with a broad range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary procedures Maintain patient safety standards in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary support teams to ensure smooth case flow Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot specialized OR equipment and technology Follow sterile technique, infection control, and universal protocol standards Support accurate specimen handling, documentation, and charting in Epic Respond appropriately to trauma and emergency surgical cases Participate in call coverage and weekend scheduling as needed Apply now to explore this Operating Room RN travel job in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and join a high-performing surgical healthcare team today.
