On-site capabilities include a surgical suite, a dedicated dental area with dental imaging, digital radiology, ultrasound, ECG, therapeutic laser, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and electronic medical records. - Provide medical leadership and uphold standards of care, quality assurance, and protocol development
- Mentor and coach veterinarians and support staff; partner closely with hospital management on workflows and client service
- Contribute to strategic planning and practice performance while fostering a positive, learning-oriented culture
- Maintain an approximate split of 30 percent leadership and 70 percent clinical duties
- Deliver general practice care including wellness and preventive services, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry with dental imaging, and diagnostics using digital radiology and ultrasound
- Manage canine and feline caseloads supported by an in-house lab, in-house pharmacy, EMR, ECG, and therapeutic laser
- Weekday schedule with no weekend hours Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical skills; prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
