Construction Coordinator (Natural Resources Administrator 1) Division of Engineering, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Franklin County, 2045 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Responsibilities Act as a specialist for the Division of Engineering by assisting division staff with statewide capital construction projects. Coordinate statewide purchasing projects for the Division of Engineering. Process invoices and maintain budgetary control related to change orders, including increases or decreases in contract or purchase order amounts. Monitor and assist in all aspects of the bid process to accomplish completion within scheduled deadlines, such as coordinating bid dates and preparing legal advertisements for publication in newspapers and on DOE and other State Agency websites. Qualifications For candidates with a graduate major core program: 12 months of experience in the natural resources specialty (architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science, or agricultural science) and a valid driver’s license. For candidates with an undergraduate major core program: 24 months of experience or training in the natural resources specialty and a valid driver’s license. For candidates with 48 months of training or experience in the natural resources specialty and a valid driver’s license. Equivalent or minimum class qualifications that meet the requirements listed above. Compensation Starting hourly pay of $32.35 per hour with multiple pay increases over the first 6.5 years of service, culminating at $46.09 per hour. Cost‑of‑living adjustments (COLA) may be applied, and longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
