Mobile Application Developer - Kotlin (FTE / Hybrid) Durham, North Carolina, United States Job Duties and Responsibilities Location: Westlake, Texas/ Durham, North Carolina (Hybrid - work from client office every alternate week (all five days)) We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android application development as the primary skill, along with working knowledge of Swift and iOS development as a secondary skill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications while supporting cross-platform mobile initiatives. Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin. Build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions following Android best practices. Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services. Develop responsive and intuitive mobile user interfaces. Optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability. Implement unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for Android applications. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning. Basic Qualifications Overall Experience: 6-9 Years 5+ years’ experience in Kotlin and Android application development 5+ years’ experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components 5+ years’ experience in REST API integration and JSON handling 5+ years’ experience with local storage solutions such as Room, SQLite, or Shared Nice to have Working knowledge of Swift and iOS development Familiarity with UIKit and/or SwiftUI Understanding of iOS application lifecycle and development fundamentals NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $106,575.00 to $177,625.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
