Closing Attorney

To support a growing team, the full-time Closing Attorney will review, prepare, and facilitate nationwide legal closings of various commercial loan transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing a pipeline of loan transactions. Key responsibilities Review and analyze loan documentation to ensure compliance with bank policies and legal requirements Coordinate and oversee loan closings, ensuring all documents are properly executed and recorded Serve as the primary legal contact throughout the closing process, providing guidance and status updates to stakeholders Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active membership in at least one state bar and in good standing 3-5 years of experience in commercial lending, SBA lending, or secured lending Strong understanding of SBA lending requirements and commercial loan documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination/document preparation systems
