Key Responsibilities Shift Leadership Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant management Ensure smooth execution of service during assigned shifts Maintain a positive, productive, and guest-focused environment Communicate expectations and priorities to team members Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, and hospitality Team Development Support the training and development of restaurant team members Provide coaching, encouragement, and recognition Promote teamwork and accountability Assist with onboarding and development of new employees Help create a positive and engaging workplace culture Guest Experience Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest service Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly Create a welcoming environment for guests and team members Ensure company service standards are consistently followed Food Quality & Safety Ensure all BBQ and menu items are prepared according to company standards Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation Promote cleanliness and operational excellence throughout the restaurant Operations & Compliance Support opening, closing, and daily operational procedures Follow cash handling, safety, and security procedures Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Assist management with operational priorities as needed Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer service leadership experience preferred Previous shift leader, team lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and ability to motivate others Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Desire to grow into future leadership opportunities High school diploma or GED preferred Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
