Overview

Our organization is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Laborist Physician to become part of a distinguished women's healthcare facility located in Columbia, SC. This practice is comprised of 11 general OB/GYN physicians, 15 laborist physicians, and 7 advanced practice providers, supported by a robust administrative team. For the past 20 years, this group has been delivering exceptional clinical care to the Columbia metro area, earning a strong reputation. Hospitalist duties will take place at either the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus or Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. This role is ideal for a physician interested in joining a reputable team in a thriving area and a well-regarded hospital system. We are looking for someone who is open to working a few hospital call shifts on a customized schedule or pursuing full-time opportunities focused on Labor & Delivery.

• Become a laborist within a large, supportive practice that offers comprehensive women's health services.
• Collaborate with a team of 11 general OB/GYN physicians, 15 laborists on varied schedules, and 7 advanced practice providers.
• Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum care, and gynecologic inpatient services.
• Perform emergency gynecological surgical procedures as necessary.
• Work closely with other OB/GYN providers, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Opportunities for both full-time and PRN shifts with flexible scheduling options.
• Hospital shifts will be conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus and Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.
• Expect to handle between 10-25 deliveries per month.
• Enjoy competitive compensation along with group malpractice coverage.
• Receive a $30K sign-on bonus and an additional $30K retention bonus for full-time positions.
• CME stipends and administrative fees will be covered by the practice.
