Therapy Technician- City Point

Therapy Technician – City Point Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our City Point location in Downtown Brooklyn. Responsibilities Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Maintain a high standard of clinical excellence while providing 5‑star customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. Perform other duties as assigned. Help create a community environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Previous customer service experience. Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task. Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow. Athletic experience is a plus. Proactive, collaborative, and team‑oriented attitude. Passion for the field of physical and occupational therapy. Dedication to rehabilitating patients’ injuries and boosting their confidence and vitality. Ability to pair clinical excellence with emotional intelligence. Physical Requirements Lift routinely loads of 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead. Carry routinely loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet. Push routinely loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys. Sustain a grip for 1–2 minutes of 40–50 pounds.
