Exciting Night Shift ICU Nurse Opportunity!

Job Description:

- Join our dynamic team in a neuro-focused ICU unit!
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours total)
- Work alongside a team dedicated to exceptional patient care and innovative practices
- Engage in a supportive environment with a focus on professional growth

Unit Highlights:

- 20 beds in the Neuro ICU
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 2:1
- Common diagnoses include stroke, dialysis, head bleeds, and other critical neurological disorders
- Advanced technology and supportive staff available 24/7

Essential Qualifications:

- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS (for NCCU, MICU, SICU)
- Must have ICU and critical care experience
- Ability to titrate drips, including Levophed, phenylephrine, versed, and insulin
- Comfortable with advanced respiratory therapy equipment (vents, BiPap, high flow)

Work Schedule:

- Requires:
- 3 weekend shifts and 1 Friday & 1 Monday per month
- Flexibility with scheduling encouraged
- Holiday shifts may be assigned as needed

Charting & Licensing:

- Charting System: EPIC
- BSN not required, but valid nursing license essential for submission
