This role involves managing patient and family experiences through effective communication, critical thinking, and nursing judgment, primarily within outpatient and outpatient pediatric settings. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sacramento, California

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, dayshift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Certifications & Licensure: California RN License; Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification all must be in hand at the time of submission
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • CA RN License
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience, with 1 year in Pediatrics for CCS Paneling, or in emergency or critical-care settings
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic electronic charting experience
• Additional Information:
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing the contract
  • Must have a 7-year work history verification with accurate documentation if requested
  • Must be able to provide at least two references obtained within the last year
  • Must state if there are any background hits such as DUIs prior to submission
  • Candidates must meet the 50 miles travel requirement; local candidates accepted at lower pay rate and should be made aware of this
  • All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and in hand at the time of submittal
  • Candidate submission must include a Sutter Cover Sheet
