Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse located in the area. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care, focusing on safety, clinical excellence, and effective communication. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working within a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of diverse patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: The ER Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse providing safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their significant others. Responsibilities include assessment, patient care management, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and support of clinical practices aligned with organizational standards.
- Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License, ACLS, BLS, BSN, PALS, mandatory minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience (adults and/or pediatrics), and NIHSS Certification.
- Schedule: Night shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week, starting on 11/30/2026 and ending on 02/27/2027.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supply and staffing needs, facilitating patient throughput, and contributing to clinical quality improvement initiatives. Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, trauma, and certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, or CEN are highly preferred.
