EPC Cost Estimator
Virtual Vocations Inc
Remote and contract-based, the EPC Cost Estimator will leverage 1-2+ years of construction estimating experience to prepare complete project estimates, analyze specifications, and interface with various stakeholders to ensure project feasibility. Key responsibilities Develop complete discipline estimates and quantity takeoffs for medium-complexity projects using industry standard guidelines and estimating software Analyze proposal specifications, engineering drawings, and project documents to define scope of work, WBS structures, and bidding requirements Calculate complete takeoffs across material, labor, and equipment, applying standard markup, contingency percentages, and industry cost database metrics Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 1-2+ years of construction estimating experience Proficiency in estimating software and industry standard guidelines Experience in documentation control Ability to interface with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors
