Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Med-Surg RN – Days | CHRISTUS Health Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Start: ASAP Contract Hours: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours/week available Openings: 1 Schedule: Full-time days Temp-to-Perm: Possible Unit / Patient Population Med-Surg unit primarily caring for post-surgical patients , including: Orthopedic surgery General surgery Neurological populations Routine and complex medical-surgical patients Requirements Epic experience required Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment Must be willing to float Active RN license in state of employment or Compact license AHA BLS required 1 year related nursing experience preferred Important Pay / Scheduling Note Candidate may choose 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours worked Recruiter Notes Hard stops: No Epic experience No prior travel assignment Not willing to float No active RN/Compact license No AHA BLS Strong fit for a traveler with solid Med-Surg, post-op orthopedics/general surgery, and neuro experience who wants either a standard 36-hour contract or the higher earning potential of a 48-hour guarantee .
