Accounting / Purchasing Coordinator

Accounting & Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate counts in ERP/MRP system Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials and production supplies Track orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery Coordinate material availability with production and warehouse teams Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Maintain vendor communication and resolve shortages or delivery issues Support cost control by comparing pricing and identifying savings opportunities Maintain documentation related to inventory transactions and purchasing activity 2+ years of inventory control or purchasing experience in manufacturing Strong Excel and computer skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Strong communication Generate and send customer invoices Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire) Monitor aging reports and follow up on past‑due balances Resolve customer billing discrepancies Support credit and collections processes when needed Qualifications 2+ years of inventory control or purchasing experience in manufacturing Experience working with ERP or MRP systems preferred Strong Excel and computer skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills 2+ years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, Plex, QuickBooks Enterprise, etc.) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Preferred (but not required) Experience supporting production scheduling or material planning Vendor coordination or sourcing experience Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure Experience with 3‑way PO matching Exposure to inventory‑related invoicing Collections experience Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
