Working Hours & Compensation The working hours for this Friday Saturday Sunday 6AM-6PM. Training will occur on Day Shift (Monday - Friday 6a - 2p) and can last several months. New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $25.66; After 12 Months: $28.31. This position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift. Responsibilities Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals. Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations. Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook). Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner. Attend all EHS training. Need to be able to utilize Kalamazoo saw, wet saw, AW Bell, pull down saw and the water jet machines or any non-hand cut cutting equipment. Required to perform MP identity marking on castings to maintain traceability. Perform alloy verification procedure (after certification is obtained). Keeps scrap and spruing separate with proper identity. Required to perform K/O procedure, KOH soak/Core removal procedure, Water Hone, and Sand Blast/ pressure blast (cleaning) of castings. Maintains identity of castings through all operations. Maintains records as required. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Follow all applicable safety rules. Work in a safe manner at all times. Perform other functions as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Basic Qualifications This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of Dover NJ will only be considered. Must have High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must pass visual eye exam and alloy verification certification. Participates in problem solving efforts. Preferred Qualifications Able to perform repeated lifting. Able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Flexibility to work in many different jobs. Physical Demands / Equipment Used Computers. Cut-off/Grind equipment (Manual and Auto). Shell removal equipment (Pneumatic, hammer Knock out and Blast). KOH Soak and Rinse Tanks. Frequent Standing, Walking and lifting of up to 25 pounds. Use of blast machines, grinding machines, hand tools and other manufacturing equipment. Must be able to use hoists.
