Transaction Management Director at CBRE

Job Overview As a CBRE Transaction Management Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for performing a variety of real estate transaction activities for properties on behalf of clients. This job is part of the Brokerage function, responsible for buying, selling, and letting residential, office, and commercial properties on behalf of clients. Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and departmental deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Support staff and internal divisions on acquisition, management, and disposal of land and facilities. Implement real‑estate plans aligned with client strategic goals. Assist with project initiation, scope prioritization, and adherence to client‑driven priorities, commitments, and milestones. Coordinate field broker selection and required resources, subject matter experts, business partners. Facilitate client review and approval of proposed team resources for transaction completion. Evaluate and interpret financial analysis templates. Develop a robust client report package. Prepare and deliver effective presentations to relevant parties. Administer quality assurance program, tracking and reporting KPI and customer satisfaction surveys. Apply strong knowledge of multiple disciplines and key drivers that impact departmental and cross‑functional performance. Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and colleagues to take action guided by functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers to reach a common goal. Identify and solve multi‑dimensional, complex operational and organizational problems. Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred; 8‑12 years relevant experience. Real Estate Salesperson license required. In lieu of a degree, combination of experience and education considered. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement, appraisal, and reward. Ability to lead sensitive and complex information exchanges, convey expectations, and handle problems. Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with impact on multiple departments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Expert organizational skills and advanced inquisitive mindset. Ability to calculate complex figures (percentages, fractions, financial calculations). Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Compensation The minimum salary for this position is $120,000 annually and the maximum is $125,000 annually. Compensation offered will depend on candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program.
