Physician may clinically supervise mid-level providers.Qualifications and abilitiesGraduate of a certified medical or osteopathic school. 1 year of work experience as a physician in a primary care clinic preferred.Must meet CME requirements for licensure.Current license to practice medicine in Hawaii.Current DEA and Hawaii Narcotics Enforcement Division licensure.Must be able to work with multi-ethnic and multi-cultural staff and clients.Must be eligible for credentialing with Quest and the majority of other third party payers the clinic participates with.Must be fluent in English.General Duties include but are not limited toProvides comprehensive outpatient care with the ability to consult and/or refer to other health care providers/services/agencies as necessary.Maintains charting in accordance with legal and clinic standards.Dispenses medications from within clinic supply in accordance with legal and clinic standards.Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize against communicable diseases.Participates in health center and professional quality assurance plans/activities, data collection and analysis.Other duties as assigned*Waikiki Health requires proof of the following immunization; with or without reasonable accommodation: TB skin test or chest x-ray, Hep B (optional).
