CT Computed Tomography Technologist

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000 for qualified external candidates. Job Summary: Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement. Primary Responsibilities Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program. Experience No experience required. Required Professional License and/or Certifications State of Work Location: Missouri, Oklahoma. Licensed: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA). Certified: ARRT-R Radiography, ARRT-T Radiation Therapy, ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or ARRT-CT Computed Tomography, or Computed Tomography (CT) Credential – NMTCB. Work Hours & Shift Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America). Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.
