A well-established community health organization in Elgin, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent opportunity. Position Overview Internal Medicine Physician Elgin, IL Full-Time Permanent Salary Range: $219,300 $280,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications) Key Responsibilities As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive care services, screenings, and annual wellness exams Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health, and care coordination teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Active Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain) Strong commitment to community-based and patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $219,300 $280,000 Productivity or quality-based incentives (if applicable) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid malpractice coverage Generous PTO and paid holidays CME allowance with paid CME time Retirement plan options Potential loan repayment eligibility (if applicable) Why Elgin, IL?
