Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively. Responsibilities Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies, provides process‑improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience, drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities and assignments, develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, and supports plans to meet customer and business needs. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, and promotes a culture of belonging and high‑performance teams. Qualifications 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorised Training is required. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Must attend and successfully complete all required job‑training and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U or Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibilities for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. For certain positions, compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and a Complex Structure based on external factors.
