Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).
Echodyne is seeking a Technical Writer to join our fast-growing team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to develop clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for our radar systems, spanning both hardware and software. This role works closely with engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a range of audiences. Develop high-quality documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, system integration guides, online help content, and training materials for radar hardware and software.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate technical content; Design and develop customer training materials in both written and video formats, including scripts and supporting content.
Coordinate with external vendors for video production based on training materials and user documentation.
Ensure all content adheres to company standards for clarity, structure, style, and consistency.
Manage documentation translation efforts in partnership with external language service providers.
3-5 years of experience in technical writing or technical content development.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with HTML, Markdown, or other AI and developer documentation tools.
Experience developing scalable documentation frameworks and structured content systems.
Familiarity with creating or managing video-based training content, including scripting and production coordination.
Experience documenting complex systems, particularly in defense, aerospace, or government-related industries.
