Our organization is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Laborist Physician to become part of a distinguished women's healthcare center located in Columbia, SC. About the Practice

This practice is comprised of 11 general OB/GYN physicians, 15 laborist physicians, and 7 advanced practice providers, supported by a robust administrative team. For over 20 years, this group has been delivering exceptional clinical care to the Columbia metropolitan area, earning a strong reputation. Hospitalist shifts will take place at either the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus or Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to join a thriving group in a growing region and a reputable hospital system. We are looking for someone interested in working a few hospital call shifts on a customized schedule or committing to full-time labor and delivery work.

Position Highlights

• Become a laborist within a large, supportive practice that offers comprehensive women's health services.
• Collaborate with a team of 11 generalist OB/GYN physicians, 15 laborists on varied schedules, and 7 advanced practice providers.
• Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic inpatient services.
• Perform emergency gynecological surgical procedures as necessary.
• Work closely with other OB/GYN providers, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Opportunities for both full-time and PRN shifts with flexible scheduling options.
• Hospital shifts will be conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus and Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.
• Expect to handle between 10 to 25 deliveries each month.
• Enjoy competitive compensation along with group malpractice coverage.
• Receive a $30K sign-on bonus and an additional $30K retention bonus for full-time positions.
• CME stipends and administrative fees will be covered by the practice.
