Medical Oncologist

Weatherby is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens opportunity, focusing on outpatient care with a 100% consultant role. This position involves managing a patient panel primarily consisting of benign hematology and oncology cases. Practice Info

• Outpatient clinic setting
• 100% consultant role, no admissions
• Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
• 70% oncology, 30% hematology - primarily benign cases

Responsibilities

• Provide 36 hours of patient care per week
• Manage 15 - 18 patients per shift in an outpatient setting
• Participate in call rotation every 4th or 5th week, including weekdays and weekends
