Vascular Ultrasound Technologist- RVT/RVS
Location: Brockton, MA Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Setting: Outpatient Vascular Surgery Practice Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform arterial and venous duplex studies, including arterial bypass, venous reflux, AVF/AVG, PVR, aortoiliac, iliocaval, renal, and mesenteric studies.
- Prepare patients for examinations and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Active RVT certification through ARDMS and/or RVS certification through CCI.
- Associate degree, accredited allied health education, or equivalent experience.
- Preferably 1-2 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
- Knowledge of vascular imaging techniques, ultrasound instrumentation, and patient safety.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
