Material Production Operator

Volt is immediately Hiring a Production Operator in Dallas, TX. As a Production Operator, you will:

• Load and unload metal materials into furnaces
• Operate machines used to heat, shape, and cut metal
• Sandblast metal parts to clean the surface
• Use power tools to clean and prepare equipment
• Cut metal to the correct size using saws
• Label and measure materials to make sure they meet quality standards
• Prepare metal samples for testing
• Get metal ingots and samples ready for testing
• Take metal pieces out of tubes and cut them to the correct size
• Clearly label and mark all materials the right way
• Test the metal to make sure it meets quality standards
• Prepare metal samples for performance testing by coating, cutting, and removing them using set steps

This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous manufacturing, production, Metal Fabrication, or Machine Operating experience
• Ability to safely operate basic machinery, tools, and equipment
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and accurate labeling
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Able to lift and move materials within safety limits

Pay Rate: $20 TO $25, DOE
